A website for teachers and parents to help young students learn the skills they need to become readers.​

    This website showcases some of the "Rhyme Time" activities we have used each day in my kindergarten classrooms.
    I believe that using Word Families ("am" words, "ig" words, etc.) is an effective and fun way to teach and practice important reading skills.

    Also, take a look at the three sample Word Family pages you can access from the above menu. I have created more than forty Word Family Word Wheels, with accompanying rhymes and songs for use in the classroom and at home. Please let me know what you think about them.
